AIR FILTER OIL
In the past, petroleum based air filter oils were cleaned using harsh solvents, like gasoline, kerosene, etc. These chemicals were harsh on you, harsh on the filter and harsh on the environment. There was the added headache of how to dispose of the dirty chemicals once you were done cleaning your air filter. Not only that, but they STILL didn't get the air filter clean enough!
That's where No Toil came in and changed the game! No Toil's goal was to create an air filter oil that would provide great protection and be easy to clean without using solvents or chemicals. They succeeded, and created a superior filter oil that is the only BIODEGRADABLE filter oil on the market! This stuff is SUPER tacky and waterproof, but can be easily cleaned using their cleaning detergent and water.
No Toil manufactures two different filter oils, "Classic Filter Oil" and their "Evolution Oil". The evolution filter oil is water based, but once the water evaporates from the filter, the oil is tacky and provides great protection.
Both work great and you won't be disappointed!
I personally use their classic filter oil. It comes in an aerosol can and it's super easy to apply. You just spray it on the filter, work it in a bit and that's it! I'm not a big fan of having to pour oil all over the filter. I tend to make a mess and I waste a bit of it. Plus, I don't feel like it gets evenly distributed on the filter. But, to each their own.
After you ride, just pop the filter our, throw it in the washing machine with some No Toil filter cleaner and let it wash. It doesn't leave any residue in your machine and it cleans the filters perfectly! Pretty darn easy! You can also clean it in a bucket or sink, but throwing it in the washing machine is effortless.
No Toil has a solution for chain lube too. Here's been my experience with chain lubes......no matter which one I use, I always have to lube the chain multiple times while at the track. Pretty much before every practice Moto. Why do I choose No Toil? Because of the protection and easy cleanup.
I've found with other chain lubes, they can be a pain in the a$$ to clean off. There will undoubtedly be some people that disagree, but that's been my experience. I hate having chain lube that flung all over the place and having it mix with dirt and cake to my chain and sprockets.
No Toil chain lube provides great protection and is easy to clean off. Just use whatever cleaner you use to wash your bike and some sort of chain brush and the stuff cleans up super easy.
I have been really impressed with No Toil's products. They've done a great job at creating a superior product line that is not harsh on you, your bike or the environment. I have no intention on switching it up.
